Sanwo-Olu congratulates Lagos APC Chairman on 7th anniversary
Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Sanwo-Olu, has extended his congratulations to the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, Mr. Ojelabi, on the party’s 7th anniversary. The gesture highlights the ongoing collaboration between the governor and the APC leadership, emphasizing shared progress in the state’s development. This recognition comes amid continued efforts by the APC to strengthen its presence in Lagos and beyond.
In Taraba State, APC Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas has pledged support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, promising to mobilize votes for APC candidates across the state. Kefas’ commitment underscores the party’s strategy to consolidate its electoral base ahead of the 2027 general elections. Meanwhile, in Osun State, tensions have escalated following an alleged shooting incident during an APC campaign in Ilesa, where a 12-year-old boy was reportedly injured. The incident has sparked protests and raised concerns about the safety of campaign activities.
The APC has also seen internal developments, with Dapo Abiodun hailing the leadership of Yilwatda, who has been instrumental in boosting the party’s electoral fortunes. Yilwatda recently unveiled the Taraba APC secretariat, appointing Kefas’ running mate, further solidifying the party’s organizational structure. These moves reflect the APC’s ongoing efforts to maintain momentum in key states ahead of upcoming elections.
