Etemore Glover has been appointed as the head of Africa's impact investment initiative by the African Investment and Innovation Group (AIIG). The decision was announced in a statement released by the organization. Glover, a seasoned financial professional with over 15 years of experience in the African market, will lead the group's efforts to channel capital into socially and environmentally beneficial projects.

The appointment comes as AIIG expands its focus on sustainable development and financial inclusion across the continent. The new leader will oversee a portfolio of investments aimed at supporting small and medium enterprises, renewable energy projects, and digital infrastructure. AIIG has reported that its impact investment arm has already funded over 120 projects in 15 African countries.

This move follows a growing trend of private sector engagement in development finance across Africa. In recent years, several international organizations and local investors have increased their commitments to impact investing, driven by both economic and social goals. AIIG's strategy aligns with global efforts to promote responsible investment and sustainable growth.

The organization has emphasized that the new leadership will focus on measurable outcomes, transparency, and long-term value creation. The appointment is expected to strengthen AIIG's position as a key player in the region's financial landscape.
