President Bola Tinubu’s administration has drawn praise from key Nigerian figures for its economic reforms and leadership. Mohammadu Sanusi, the 16th Emir of Kano, acknowledged improvements in Nigeria’s economic indicators under Tinubu’s leadership. Sanusi credited the reforms for a recovery that has boosted confidence in the country’s economic prospects.
Minister of Education Tunji Alausa described Tinubu as a transformative leader, noting that Nigeria has transitioned from a "moribund country" to one showing growth within three years. Alausa’s remarks were made after meeting Tinubu’s former classmates at Chicago State University, where he highlighted the president’s intellectual and leadership qualities.
At the 11th session of the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission in Cape Town, Dr. Dennis Otuaro, administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, praised Tinubu’s strategic direction and commitment. Otuaro emphasized the president’s role in strengthening bilateral relations and advancing national interests.
Tinubu’s policies have focused on fiscal discipline, public service delivery, and economic stability. His administration has also prioritized diplomatic engagement, as seen in the recent South Africa summit. These efforts have positioned Nigeria as a more stable and cooperative international actor.
The praise from religious and political leaders underscores a growing consensus on Tinubu’s leadership style and its impact on both domestic and international fronts. As the administration continues its reforms, the focus remains on sustaining economic progress and deepening diplomatic ties.
