The Nigeria Air Force (NAF) has officially released the names of all 25 individuals who died in the crash of flight NAF 931. The list includes crew members and passengers, as announced in a statement issued from Abuja on Tuesday. The release comes following the confirmation of the crash, which occurred in Igbokoda, Ondo State.

The statement was issued by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF Headquarters. It marks the first official acknowledgment of the identities of those affected. The NAF has also opened a condolence register for the victims, allowing the public to express their grief and support.

The crash, which killed all aboard, has raised questions about the safety of military aviation in Nigeria. Among the victims was NAF pilot Ahamefule Man-Ugwueje, who had married Flight Lieutenant Damilola Adekunle just two weeks prior. The couple’s wedding photos and video have circulated online, highlighting the personal tragedy behind the incident.

This is not the first time NAF has faced scrutiny over aviation safety. Previous incidents have led to calls for improved maintenance and operational protocols. The current crash has intensified these concerns, with families and officials demanding a thorough investigation. The NAF has not yet released details on the cause of the crash, but an inquiry is expected to be launched in the coming days.
